Today, I will guide you step by step through the process of string assembly. Managing the number of windings in the tuning machines is crucial to ensure that the string rests correctly on the capo.
If the string runs too straight, it may not rest properly and create an annoying 'sitar' effect.
If the string is insufficiently wound, the tuning mechanism may not maintain the tuning.
Remember to check your tuning periodically and keep your guitar well cleaned to ensure optimal performance.
