Deseret Ranch, situated near Orlando, Florida, is the largest cattle ranch in the United States, surpassing even the renowned King Ranch in terms of cattle numbers. Covering over 295,000 acres, it is overseen by the Mormon Church. Moyle and Meeks acquired the property in 1947, swiftly expanding it to over 220,000 acres within two years. The ranch boasts a sizable herd of more than 42,500 cattle and calves, with annual calf production reaching over 36,000. Additionally, it utilizes 1,600 acres for citrus cultivation, 1,100 acres for farmland under pivots, and engages in timber, sod, and shell production for road base. Notably, Deseret Ranch remains under the ownership of the Mormon Church to this day.
