In this clip on the Yoga Sutra of Patanjali, Paramahamsa Prajnanananda tells us what happens when we offer everything to God.
That which is offered to the Lord becomes sanctified (prasad). The first act of offering is self-surrender, "I belong to God." Surrender does not come spontaneously; it requires effort.
Let us live with the attitude: whatever we do (in thought, word, and action) is not for me, it is for God.
