This is a 360° walk-around introductory video to the Royal Aircraft Factory SE.5a -- one of Britains best fighter aircraft of World War One.
This example is a 100% accurate reproduction built by The Vintage Aviator Ltd in Wellington, New Zealand.

The S.E.5 was first used in action by No 56 Squadron RFC on the 22nd April 1917. By the end of 1917 a further seven RFC squadrons had been equipped with the type which by then had developed into the ‘5a’ variant (with a 200hp engine instead of the earlier 150hp Hispano-Suiza).
