I’ve been using the freelap
I’ve been using the freelap timing system for a number of months now and have it to be a highly effective and portable timing system. It works via Bluetooth and sends times to your phone or tablet in virtual real-time. It’s easy to set up and you can fine flying times, split times and intervals.
It’s definitely helped me coach but perhaps more import army freelap acts as a great motivator for the athletes. Once we put out those yellow TX junior pro transmitters our on track they up their game.
In the last it would be difficult to time with any certainty flying 20m times, for example, now you know what you’re getting on your phone is accurate (to 2/1000). I’d certainly recommend the system - if you’d like to find out more and potentially purchase one then contact me
