85th Anniversary of Spirit Of Progress

The Victorian Railways introduced an express, luxurious passenger train that was never experienced in Australia and the Southern Hemisphere because it was the first train to have air-conditioning. 2022 marks the 85th anniversary of the train that ran the non-stop 3 hour and 30 minute journey between Melbourne and Albury.
