Grandma's Marathon 2024 | Recap | Sub 2:50 Attempt

I had not been back to my birth state until now and it sure gave me a "warm" welcome, and oh man...WHAT A RACE. Had the race of my lifetime at the Grandma's Marathon so I went off yapping a little bit more in this recap. But the TLDR is: I finally did it and I'm happy. After the previous two "failed" marathon attempts, it just made this attempt that much sweeter and fueled me that more to become a better runner. Stacking the marathon training blocks back to back was definitely a challenge in itself, but I was able to get through it with my friends and family training along with me and cheering me on. They really believed in me and stuck with me to the end. No Gopro race video this time, and instead I sort of combined the recap and some race footage into this single video since race footage was limited (I really wanted to run well this time). But hopefully this video still did it's job in somewhat showing you guys how the course was as well as my experience with it. It started off so nice in the beginning of the race, but I realized it got pretty wet later on in the race. Hope you guys enjoy!
