To setup the Backup for
To setup the Backup for your data, click on Edit, preferences, and then backup.
Here, you can select if you would like automatic updates and you can set up the default backup folder.
We recommend using a flash drive.
Click here, and select the location of your Flash Drive, which should have its own letter assigned to it.
When you do a Backup, it takes all of your data and history and compresses it into one file. The name of that file is called EasyFarm8.ebk. If this file is present from a previous backup, it will be replaced with a backup of your current data.
If Date/Time is selected, it will not overwrite the previous backup as each backup name will differ.
You can also manually backup by clicking File and Backup.
To restore back-up data, click file and then restore.
Next, select the location of your backup.
Then click on the ledgers you would like to restore.
Then click go.
Next, we will take a look at the cash flow planner.
