Big Rob doing a few measurements around a house he's renovating to show you what surface is the best and worst to measure your height on.
On Carpet, laminate, plywood and floorboards. 4 measurements, slightly different each time. Not all surfaces/walls are going to be be perfect, so sometimes you might need to check your height at a few locations to make sure you aren't underbilling yourself....
The flatter the better.
Avoid Carpet if you can! You could end up short-changing yourself...
