La Carihuela is definitely a favorite among tourists and offers a pleasant sea views and dramatic rock formations. An old fishing village in a beautiful area full of picturesque views where simple houses and bougainvillea clad patios can be found.
Popular of all the beaches in Torremolinos, the sandy shores of this beach quickly fill through the height of summer due to the proximity to the major resorts in the region. Chiringuitos, restaurants and bars with wide range of gastronomic offerings are plentiful along the promenade, shops and play areas for children are present too.
Clear and shallow waters are ideal for swimming here at La Carihuela. Just like most of the beaches along this expanse of coastline, its dark sand is great for various beach sports activities including volleyball and water sports activities.
