How to Make Realistic Jello Gummy Worms
2 cups grapefruit juice
1.5 tbsp unflavored gelatin (1 packet)
1.5 tbsp brown sugar
0.5 tbsp white food dye or milk
1 drop green food coloring
50-100 flexible bendy straws
(optional) 25 oreos, cream removed and shells crushed

Mix together 1 cup of grapefruit juice with 1.5 tbsp unflavored gelatin powder until well combined. Let it sit for 5 minutes. Microwave the mixture for 1 minute. Add 1.5 tbsp of brown sugar until completely dissolved. Place in the microwave for 30 seconds if not dissolving. Add 0.5 tbsp of white food dye or milk to add solidity and make the gummy worms less transparent. Add 1 drop of green food coloring to create an earthy tone for these realistic jello gummy worms. Place mixture in a container filled with 50-100 bendy straws (bendy side down) and fill to the top. Place in refrigerator to set for at least 4 hours. When the jello mixture is set, remove straws and from the side that was on the top, roll with a rolling pin to release the gummy worm from the straw. Set gummy worms aside. Create your "soil" for your gummy worms by crushing the shells of oreos and setting worms on top of soil mixture. Enjoy!
