Birds of Prey

With David Janssen, released on January 30, 1973. Final sequences were filmed at Utah's Wendover Airport, formerly Wendover AAF/AFB where project Silverplate B-29 crews trained to deliver nuclear weapons during WW2.

The Hughes 500C helicopter N9103F was substantially damaged (but not destroyed) on February 23, 1974 when it collided with a baggage cart during film work at the Hollywood-Burbank Airport (now named the Bob Hope Airport).

On June 19, 1977 Hughes 500C N9103F was involved in a mid-air collision with a Piper J3C-65 Cub N38101 at Waller, Texas. The helicopter was received minor damage. Sadly, there were two fatalities in the Cub.

On August 9, 2000 Hughes 500C N9203F was deregistered from the FAA's database and exported to Canada. Canadian registration is unknown.

The Sud Aviation (now Aerospatiale) SA-316B Lama helicopter N13583 was destroyed in a single-fatality crash on November 7, 1974 at Springerville, AZ during a ferry flight; flameout due to contaminated fuel.
