Is it okay that Skoda charges so much for its smallest SUV? When the Kamiq compact SUV launched in Australia it was almost $10,000 more affordable than it is today at the base model level. I've just driven the 85TSI Style entry-level version, and it's still a really good small crossover SUV, but it isn't worth $37K. Instead, I reckon if you want a 2023 Skoda Kamiq, you should be buying either the sporty looking Monte Carlo or the top-spec Signature luxury model, both of which have a four-cylinder turbo engine instead of the 3-cyl turbo in this base grade. Pricing and spec aside, the Skoda Kamiq SUV is a great option for those want a small SUV that is big on space and smarts, has some nice tech and feels a bit premium.
