This video is about how I can butter that does not need refrigeration. I include a disclaimer that this is not FDA/USDA approved but many of us do it anyway. If that is an issue for you, this video is not for you. In the event of a shtf scenario, hurricanes, store shortages, etc, it's good to know I have butter on hand for cooking with. In this method, butter is shelf stable for at least a year if kept in a cool, dark place. Whether you pressure can it or waterbath can it is up to you.
