Launching products and being an Etsy creator is hard enough 😢.
When it comes to analyzing your business, you can spend hours trying to navigate Etsy's cryptic analytics.
Not to mention, something like sales can be calculated 3 different ways in 3 different places in your account.
As Etsy sellers, this was a huge pain for our business.
We would spend 3-4 hours a week trying to reconcile what we sold that week.
At the end of my first calendar year in business in 2019, I realized that the profit and loss statement generated by a PAID accountant was all WRONG. ‼️
Reports like this should be meaningful to your business, telling you where you are and where you need to go.
When you are just starting out, this stuff is obviously not your main priority BUT not something that should be overlooked.
