Walkthrough - Building your first Microsoft Teams app in JavaScript

Learn how to build your first app for Microsoft Teams using JavaScript!

Microsoft have a great "Get Started" section for developers wanting to start building apps for Microsoft Teams. Included in this is a set of instructions for building your first app using JavaScript.

In this walkthrough video, I go through that entire tutorial and build out each of the three types of Microsoft Teams app converted: a tab app, a bot and a messaging extension. Then, I deploy them all to Microsoft Azure!

I use a completely clean VM running Windows 11 and therefore cover all of the pre-requisites needed to do this.  

Use my video alongside the published tutorial to:

- understand what the tutorial does before you run it yourself
- help you complete the tutorial
- address any issues you may have encountered running the tutorial

This is a "WARTS 'N' ALL" video! That means that when things go wrong (and they do!), rather than edit it out, I keep it in and work through it. By doing this, you can learn from what I did, so you can fix the issue too.
