Please enjoy a closer look at our ninjutsu martial arts training and the spirit and purpose behind it.
Some background information to our video: The leading actress Susan was 18 years old at the time of the filming in April 2011. Back then she was training ninjutsu since 1 year and three months and was holding the rank of 8th Kyu. (Right after the filming she was promoted to 7th Kyu.) The attacker is played by Christoph Bernhard, a professional actor from Berlin. The film was directed, filmed and edited by Stephan Walsch. Gaffer was Jacek Krupa. Artur Zieniuk was technical assistant. The Music was composed by Sidney Klein. Responsible for the fight choreography is Dorothee Dao, one of two female black belt instructors of our dojo. A number of members of our dojo as well as personal buddies of Susan volunteered as extras in the pub resp. in the training hall. For the pub scene www.laika-neukoelln.de kindly provided its premises. Philip Dao is the producer of the film and the head instructor of our dojo.
