Mercury 2002 90hp 2 Stroke - Motor wont start

Looking for some boat community support. My Mechanic walked out on me and left me with a non working engine. Cant figure out and looking fo suggestions on what to do next. All local yards have a multi month waiting period. Would like to solve sooner than that. Notes - I was unaware when on the water that the magnet had broken off. Therfore I ran it back in not knowing the problem. So please dont bag me for running it while broken. However since I have learned of problem I have not run motor until now trying to start after fix. Will turn at what sems good speed but will not start. HELP!
