Akash Vijayvargiya has been acquitted by the MP-MLA court. 5 years ago, while being an MLA, Akash Vijayvargiya was accused of beating municipal corporation officials with a cricket bat. Along with Akash, the court has also acquitted ten other people who were accused. Akash Vijayvargiya is the son of current Madhya Pradesh cabinet minister Kailash Vijayvargiya. During the incident, Akash was a BJP MLA from Indore-3 seat. In the 2023 assembly elections, BJP had denied ticket to Akash and made his father Kailash Vijayvargiya a candidate from Indore-1 seat.
