There has been a big update in the National Stock Exchange Phone tapping case. The bail request has been rejected, meaning, no bail will be given to Sanjay Pandey, Ex Mumbai Police Commissioner, the main person involved in this case.
He was sent to judicial custody from ED's Custody after being interrogated, after which a bail plea was filed but the breaking news is that the plea has been rejected. He is accused of being involved in the phone tapping of NSE Employees. Yesterday, both the sides were heard and the final decision came in today which clearly denies Sanjay Pandey of any bail. It is said that if he were to given the bail, there was a high possibility that he might tamper with the evidences. He is also denied bail on the grounds that the investigation is still going on.
