Gethsemane is a Hebrew name gat shemanim which means - Oil press .
Gethsemane thus as it suggests from the name, the garden of Olive trees with an Oil press.
It is at this garden that Jesus came to Pray after Eating the last supper with His disciples at the Upper room {cenacle} . He knew that the hour of His betrayal has come in that , in His prayers He said ," Father if it's your will, remove from me this cup of suffering. Nevertheless, not as i will but as you will"
His disciple Judas Iscariot betrayed Him with a kiss which led to His arrest then from here He appeared before the High Priest Caiaphas .
At Caiaphas , Peter the disciple denied Him 3 times before the cock crows
