Premium Security Upgrade. The Tuffy 2 Compartment Overhead Security Console is a bolt-on solution for YJ or TJ owner that needs an additional secure storage space. Mounting directly to the roll bar and windshield frame between the two front passengers on 1987-2002 Jeep Wrangler YJ and TJ models, this two compartment overhead console is secured with a single lock. With the 4” speaker grille cutouts in each door and a pre-punched hole for a CB mic, this Tuffy 2 Compartment Overhead Security Console is a premium upgrade ideal for securely housing a CB radio, additional speakers or any other electronics.
Heavy Duty Construction. Manufactured from 16-gauge heavy-duty steel with a black powder coat finish, the Tuffy 2 Compartment Overhead Security Console is a premium security upgrade for Jeep Wranglers. Both compartments feature speaker grille cut-outs and swing up flush with the enclosure, while the single lock operation incorporates a high security 10 tumbler double-bitted key. This Tuffy Overhead Console will extend to fit between the roll bar and windshield.
Bolt-On Installation. This Overhead Security Console will easily bolt on in place of the footman loop in the windshield frame in the front and mount to the sports bar with a set of U-bolts in the rear. No cutting or other modifications are required and this installation can be complete in under an hour.
