Hey guys this is the precursor to my beginners guide to overclocking your ram. Basically I was doing a lot of testing and the big thing to take out of it was that you shouldn't be using the auto settings in BIOS as they are horrible. At the very least load the XMP profiles (guarenteed ram overclocks) and you will get very good results. That being said I will get my ram overclocking tutorial done in the next few weeks, and I will make it very good for you guys!
System Specs and config used for this video:
Intel i5-3570K @ 4.2ghz
CFD Elixir W3U DDR3 Ram 4 x 4GB (16GB total) @ 1866 9-10-9-30 @ 1.575v
Galaxy GTX 670
Asrock Z77 Extreme4
If you guys have corsair vengeance or similar then feel free to copy my sweetspot settings (and if they dont work you can always just revert back to your 1600-9-9-9-24).
