Q: Why don't you use a hose adapter from a 20lb? A: I do, but you need to run a $20 filter on the hose and drag a big tank around. There are times that is not practical and I've had TWO $30 hoses fail.
Q: Can't you overfill the 1lb canister? A: No, all propane tanks run the same pressure.
Q: Why don't you get a Flame King? A: Because they cost $30. You can buy a 20lb tank for that price defeating the purpose of this money saving hack.
Q: Isn't this dangerous??? A: Maybe. I've never had an issue. Do it AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Q: OMG isn't this is illegal? A: It's legal to refill, but not legal to transport DOT 39 refilled cylinders. You do so AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Q: Have you ever had one fail or leak? A: Not in 3 years but I do throw them out at any sign of wear.
Q: Why not open the relief valve while filling? A: Do not mess with the emergency relief valve! This can cause a leak.
