How to draw a tree in pen and ink

Trees are easier to draw when you understand their structure from the inside and work outwards. This is a walnut type of tree.

I use a Rotring Tikky Graphic 0.3 pen and copic ciao marker pens. The paper is fairly cheap drawing cartridge or bristol paper.
