I thought Hedo Turkoglu was done for sure. Like, doner than Kobe Bryant. That’s how done I thought he was. You can go back to two seasons ago he still looked like he was all out of gas, and even large amounts of bull shark testosterone injected directly into his nads couldn’t give him the vitality necessary to play meaningful minutes on the court.
Now I’m the one looking stupid because it turns out that Turkoglu can still contribute a little bit, as long as he gets to start and play 32 minutes like the good old days. It’s apparent he no longer possesses the ability to dunk, but hey, you don’t get extra points for dunking. You DO get extra points for shooting three-pointers, and there’s no risk of getting denied by the rim in embarrassing fashion after it’s revealed that your vertical rivals that of a nursing home patient.
How often does the NBA do PED testing these days, anyway?
