Hello Friends,
The dual nature of radiation and matter refers to the fact that both radiation (such as light and electromagnetic waves) and matter (such as electrons and atoms) have properties of both particles and waves. This concept was first proposed by Max Planck in 1900 and later developed by Albert Einstein and others. In class 12th physics, students will learn about the wave-particle duality and how it applies to the behavior of radiation and matter. This includes the wave-like properties of light, such as diffraction and interference, as well as the particle-like properties of matter, such as the photoelectric effect and the wave-particle duality of electrons. Understanding this concept is important for understanding many phenomena in physics, including the behavior of atoms and molecules in chemistry, and the behavior of electrons in semiconductors and solid-state physics
