Yes, nowadays contact lenses are available for cylindrical power also. Previously when there was a cylindrical power, the only contact lens that was available is a rigid gas permeable lenses. As the name suggests, it was rigid, it was difficult to wear, particularly in dust and other conditions and it was painful to the eye however in the last 10 to 15 years, we have got soft contact lenses with cylindrical power. These are called as toric contact lenses. The calculation is done based on your refractive power, either by the eye doctor or the optometrist or the company providing the contact lens. So please contact the nearest eye doctor for the details.
