You should be thinking about magnesium! Nowadays many people are deficient in magnesium because of the stress-magnesium depletion mechanism. And because magnesium is necessary for over 300 cellular processes, you will feel it if you don't have enough. We know magnesium is important for: - ATP and energy production which is why people without enough magnesium feel depleted. - Proper immune regulation. - Thyroid health and function. - Glutathione production inside the thyroid gland. - Cortisol regulation and metabolism. The ideal range of magnesium intake from all sources is around 300 to 400 mg per day the majority of which should come from food sources.
