Here is a video I show covering day 1 and 2 of my gold prospecting trip to Wanlockhead, Scotland November 2016. This was a 4 day long weekend gold prospecting trip just after winter had started to set in so it was very cold, especially at night. I started by visiting an area I had previously gold prospected at (see my channel for videos of that previous trip to this spot) as I had worked infront of the massive protruding bedrock slab what was coming out from the hillside and I thought there was a deep large gravel bank behind the slab which I could prospect behind for the weekend. In this video, it covers the first 2 days of prospecting behind this bedrock slab, some gold if panned out and recovered but not a great deal compared to the effort over the 2 days, so day 3 I decide to prospect an alternative stream I`ve had success at in the past and it turned out to be a good move. A video of day 3 and 4 gold prospecting the other stream will be on my channel shortly which has a lot more gold to show for the days spent prospecting.
