Bremerhaven Germany, Cruise ship in port at Columbus Cruise terminal.
This is an "old school port" for me in a way that I did quite few arrivals here and it always feels great to come alongside and be ready on time for passenger turn-around.
For those who are in the same "business", bringing a ship in the port is not just to make the lines fast and safely come alongside. Yes, this is a great start but there is so much more on the agenda. Long pilotage, embarkation of passengers, luggage, provisions and spare parts soon start to kick-off.
Aside all the technicians, bunker operations, disposals, planned projects and quite few other things that we will not mention here, departing Bremerhaven with all things checked-off on the agenda is always a great success.
