This full-body yoga for flexibility and mobility flow combines long static holds with dynamic yoga movements. Long static stretches will help you increase range of motion and build strength whereas short and dynamic yoga moves will help retain the flexibility you’ve gained as well as relieve muscle tension and everyday aches and pains.
Looking for post-workout yoga stretch? This deep yoga stretch is an excellent cooldown routine after a workout since it targets every major muscle group. You can also do this yoga for flexibility stretch as a part of your cross-training program on recovery days.
This yoga sequence for flexibility and mobility is suitable for all levels, but I recommend you are familiar with most yoga poses and alignment since I'm not giving any alignment cues in this video. You don't need any specific equipment, but a yoga mat and two yoga blocks can be helpful. Though they are merely needed to increase your comfort in some poses – you may as well do all the poses without blocks.
