I can't log into my QNAP anymore - Admin Password Reset (This keeps your Data safe!)

Hey guys, I’ve been kind of busy with uni stuff but I just had to make a new video, because after one year I can’t connect to my qnap NAS which is driving me crazy. I did not change my password or any other option but suddenly when I want to log into the admin page, it says „wrong credentials“ and I can’t login. I tried using different computers with different IPs, turned it on and off multiple times but still I cannot access the qnap web interface or any of the mapped drives. Thats why I see a soft reset as the only option to gain access to my qnap NAS again, but it is somewhat intimidating.

Instructions according to the manual:

- Press and hold the Reset Button for 3 seconds while the NAS its booting up.
- Result: The admin password gets reset and you can use the MAC address as your new password

This actually worked for me and all my files are still there, which is why I am making this video.
