Student Safety at Amrita

At Amrita, we believe that a safe and supportive campus community is an obligation towards our students. Hence, student safety is a top priority of all our campuses. Campus culture at  Amrita adheres to a value-based system which is a blend of Indian culture imbibing the unique academic professionalism of western philosophy.

Here, we have Ms. Rehana C Mukundan, Chief Warden at the Kochi health science campus of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, addressing the safety and promotion of value-based culture among our students. Right from the inception of the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences in 1998, Rehnaji has been a significant part of the Administrative Board of the AIMS campus and for the last 22 years she has been committedly carrying out the role of Chief student Warden, and hence, the most important person concerned with the student welfare activities at the campus.
