The Mosquito Bank Sandbar is within Key Largo John Pennekamp coral reef state park, is one of the best sandbars in the Florida Keys, it's on the Atlantic side of the Island and it's frequented by locals. You need to go in fair weather and low tide for full enjoyment, the summer months are spectacular in the Keys! Mosquito Bank competes with its neighbor to the South, The Islamorada Sandbar as one of the TOP Sandbars in the Florida Keys. They Sandbar Parties are amazing!
