Transitions Xtractive lenses are a
Transitions Xtractive lenses are a type and brand of photochromic lens, that changes in the sun.
Transitions standard photochromic lenses go light and dark in the sun, but the Xtractive version goes much darker quicker and works better in the car, they also have a very slight residual colour to them when clear.
They still offer UV protection and are safe to use at night and indoors.
There are many more types of photochromic lenses available and this is just one of many solutions available.
