'ओम नमः शिवाय' सबसे लोकप्रिय हिंदू मंत्रों में से एक है और शैव धर्म में भी सबसे महत्वपूर्ण मंत्रों में से एक है। यह एक शांतिपूर्ण मंत्र और महान मोक्षदायक मंत्र है। इस मंत्र को पंचाक्षरी के नाम से भी जाना जाता है, जिसका अर्थ है 'ओम' को छोड़कर पांच अक्षरों वाला मंत्र।
