Today's guided Stick Mobility workout is all about engaging and strengthening the Posterior Chain!

That's more than just your bum, though that's a big part of it. But your Posterior Chain includes your calves, hamstrings, glutes (of course), spinal erectors (they are super important for posture and stability as well as rotation), traps, delts, rhomboids and more! Point being, there's a whole lot there to work on that keeps your body upright and moving with relative ease.

Many people think of Posterior Chain training is for athletes, and you're not wrong! Every athlete does this training, but it's beneficial for every single person because of how important these muscles are to daily life!

Strengthen your Posterior Chain and you'll likely reduce back pain, improve posture and gait, and generally feel better moving. And yes, it'll also improve athleticism and increase power doing explosive movements (whether that's jumping, lunging, or standing).

I am using my 2 long Stick Mobility Sticks and I explain during the video how you can use 1 stick, but fair warning... It's harder with one. It requires more stability from you - so it's a great challenge if you're up for it! You can also potentially use one stick and the wall as an assist.

As always, you don't need these special sticks, but they do make the workout easier because of their grippy ends and delightful bending!

Feel free to modify any movements or leave exercises out if you're not feeling it today. You're here to move your body, gain awareness, and have some fun. If anything doesn't feel right, adjust by making the movement smaller. Less is more when it comes to starting out training mobility!


Equipment Needed: At least one stick (I'm using 2), an anchor point like the wall.
