How Rihanna Became the Queen of the Met Gala

The first Monday In may is reserved for fashion’s biggest night. A List celebrities gather at the Metropolitan Museum for a night of charity and fashion. The Met carpet is the chance to be daring, and take fashion risks one might not normally take on a traditional red carpet. Fans hope to see their favorite celebrities in iconic looks, and many flock to social media to share their opinions live. Fans especially hope to see Rihanna, as she wows every time she arrives. Stunning in designers from Stella McCartney, to Margiela, to Balenciaga, Rihanna shows time and time again through her Met looks that fashion is art. Her big Met breakout was her Guo Pei look for 2015's China: Through the Looking Glass event. Since she's pregnant, Rihanna likely won't be at Monday's Met.
