Metal Detecting A Ghost Town - Finding It's History

In this video we go back to one of our favorite places - the old, long-gone, ghost town of NW Pennsylvania. A remote town of over 1,000 residents, timbering and tanning were the main industries until the hemlocks were used up to the point they could no longer support the local industry so the town slowly died off. Today nothing but tall oaks and maples stand in the location that once was the place where these early settlers of this area lived. We spent 2 days exploring and discovering the relics these pioneers left behind.
