But after Reese's sub-par performance against the New York Liberty on Saturday, media outlets have rehashed a vulnerable conversation Reese had with WNBA legend Lisa Leslie in a 2023 feature article from Glamour Magazine. In the article, Leslie says to Reese, "I understand how injuries can breed self-doubt and impact mental health. How did you manage to navigate through [injuries at Maryland] and come out stronger?
