US Open Pencak Silat Championships - Highlights

On June 22, the USA Pencak Silat Federation held the first Pencak Silat tournament in the USA. Championship in North America. Over 200 athletes, coaches, dignitaries and spectators from Indonesia, Singapore, Uzbekistan and more - Including the Indonesian Ambassador Mahendra Siregar. Both artistic and sparring divisions were held (Tanding, Tunggal, Ganda and Regu) with new digital scoring system and two arenas. The championship was attended by perguruans (Silat Schools) across the USA including Merpatih Putih, Silat Suffian Bela Diri, Bangau Putih, Al-Azhar Seni Bela Diri, Silat Institute, Silat Academy, Satria arts and many more!
