Planting Kangkong or Water Spinach
Planting Kangkong or Water Spinach in a plastic bottle container is easy and a great addition to your Urban Garden but after few weeks, it grows slowly and produce thin stems.
Paano magtanim ng Kangkong? Paano magpalago at magalaga ng Kangkong sa plastic bottle container.
I am a fan of Self-Watering Container, however, If the plant produces heavy roots, you can only enjoy early success but after a month or so, the produce will not be impressive.
In this video, I shared a little twist in using plastic bottle as container and make it more friendly to water loving vegetable like Kangkong.
I also shared the fertilizers Na ginagamit ko sa tuwing nagdidilig ako sa container.

ORGANIC INSECTICIDE:
1 liter of water
10 drops of dishwashing soap
1 teaspoon of Baking Soda (Optional)
1 teaspoon of Neem Oil (any kind of oil)
3 pcs of Siling Labuyo (crushed)
3 pcs of Garlic (crushed)
Mix them together and wait for 24 hours before using.
To avoil “burning” the leaves, spray it late inntge afternoon. In case you over spray, you can spray or wash it of with plain water in the morning.
As added precaution, use 50/50 ration in your first try. 50 % water - 50% solution in your spray bottle. You can adjust as needed. Use at least twice a week or as needed.
