A WW1 Officer's Uniform & Kit - 1st Battalion The Black Watch

The Uniform and Equipment worn by a Highland Officer at the outbreak of the First World War was complex, but surprisingly practical. In this video, we look at the kit of a junior officer of the 1st Royal Highlanders (Black Watch), from the underwear to the cap badge! N.B. There are a lot of battalion specific aspects of kit shown here, this was not what every Scottish officer wore.
