A River Cruise: The Minneapolis Queen, July 28, 2023

My daughter and I took a pleasant 90-minute cruise on the Mississippi River aboard the Minneapolis Queen. The boat leaves Bohemian Flats Park near the Washington Avenue Bridge and the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. July 28, 2023. The cruise included passage through the Lower St. Anthony Falls Lock. I remember during graduate school at the U of M in the late 60s looking out the windows in the chemistry teaching labs and watching the Mississippi River overflow its banks each spring.
