In this video I share my experience with the P0758 code I encountered in my 3RD Gen 1997 Toyota 4Runner Limited. My A340E transmission would not shift from first to second or downshift from third to second. Replacing the solenoid did fix my problem but you should inspect the magnets in your transmission and verify that you still have all of your gears before you proceed with replacing them as I did.
