Sugar Cane Jeans or ‘dungarees’
Sugar Cane Jeans or ‘dungarees’ as the company prefers to call them are well known for their traditional hand dyed cuts that are true representations of original denim from the 1940's. As the name implies sugar cane is often used in the companies line-up of denim, though in this instance these are 100% cotton.
Today I have the model SC42014, also known as the '1947 Model Type-III' which I have worn for years. It's a 12oz pair of denim that has been perfect through the warmer months. Let me know in the comments if you've got a pair of Sugar Canes as this is the one and only pair of SC's I've ever owned and worn.
