Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi often
Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi often pointed out that his 'silent teachings' were more powerful and direct than his verbal teachings. Many times, instead of giving out verbal answers to the people who came to him, he emitted a silent power which quietened the minds of everyone around him.
Sri Ramana frequently mentioned Dakshinamurti, a manifestation of Siva, whose silent power led four learned sages, gathered around him, to an experience of the Self, thus removing all their doubts.
It is said that some people consider Sri Ramana Maharshi as an incarnation of Lord Dakshinamurti.
