Με κεντρικό μήνυμα «Crete.Sense the Αuthentic» η Περιφέρεια Κρήτης χτιζει μια καμπάνια που καλεί τον δυνητικό επισκέπτη να ανακαλύψει όλα όσα συνθέτουν τη μοναδική τουριστική εμπειρία της Κρήτης.
Βαθιά φαράγγια, αμμουδερές ακτογραμμές, ιστορικές πόλεις, ανεξερεύνητη ενδοχώρα και ένας περήφανος λαός που τιμά τις παραδόσεις του νησιού του και τη φιλοξενία που ορίζει ο προστάτης της, Ξένιος Δίας. Από τις χιονισμένες κορυφές του Ψηλορείτη, των Λασιθιώτικων και των Λευκών ορέων στην γαλαζοπράσινη λιμνοθάλασσα του Μπάλου, το φοινικόδασος της Πρέβελης, τις σπηλιές των Ματάλων και τις απάτητες αμμουδερές ακτές της Χρυσής κάτω από τον φωτεινό Κρητικό ήλιο και τους ήχους της λύρας η Κρήτη υποδέχεται τον επισκέπτη της με μοναδικές εικόνες και τις 4 εποχές του χρόνου υποσχόμενη...αυθεντική φιλοξενία.

Through the central message "Sense the Authentic", we are building a campaign that invites visitors to discover everything that composes the unique tourism experience of Crete. It encourages visitors to feel, to experience with all their senses the hospitality, as offered by the locals and the tourism professionals, expressed through the passion and love for their work, but also through their deeply rooted moral obligation to offer the "best" and, most importantly, the "authentic". With more than 1,000 kilometers of coastline, rich history, aromas and flavors that fascinate, Crete, the birthplace of Europe's oldest civilization, welcomes its visitors with optimism and continues to offer, especially in this unprecedented time, authentic relations with the visitors, based on mutual responsibility.
