Following Fausto Gresini's tragic passing, we look back in tribute to 1987 when the Italian absolutely dominated, winning nine out of the ten races, a record for the most 125cc victories in one season.
He put in a spectacular ride during the 125cc race at the Salzburgring and would eventually secure the World Championship for a second time in his brilliant career. He will be sorely missed and fondly remembered by us all.
